fours.co.uk - Highly recommended. Starter ideas for teaching every single QCA module, plus supporting material including teachers' subject knowledge and weblinks. This link takes you to the KS1 page, from which you can easily jump to the KS2 section.

BBC Science Clips - Browse the BBC's excellent science animations by age or topic.
Channel 4 Science Essentials - Of a similar high quality to the BBC's excellent site but aimed at KS2. Search by NC reference, QCA unit or theme corresponding with the SC strands (choose life, material world, get physical).
Crick School - Well-presented and designed IWB resources for a range of topics related to SC2, SC3 and SC4.
Bristol University - Physics for primary school pupils. Booklet with 16 easy experiments plus lots of useful links to other activities.
Primary School Science - Literacy, differentiation and SEN in science. Worksheets and lesson plans, plus you can build your own scheme of work - this is not a free-to-use site though!
howstuffworks.com - A comprehensive site suitable for teachers interested in learning about aspects of science, D&T or ICT.

discovery.com - Yucky kids section - lots of humorous content on the human body, worms and cockroaches. Plus fun and science-related games.
wiredforhealth.gov.uk - A government site with loads of information on health and fitness.
food.gov.uk - Healthier eating portal with lots of information on nutrition.
nutrition.org - British Nutrition Foundation teacher's website. Experiments, information, worksheets, PowerPoints and other resources.
Biotechnology and Biology Research Council - Takes you to the free resources section. You can order booklets and CDROMs on plants, minibeasts and other pertinent aspects of biology.
English Nature - Resources and lesson plans for teaching children about wildlife and geology. Good cross-curricular links with art and geography.

British National Space Centre - Teachers' section of this well-designed and accessible site. Lesson plans and resources relate to our solar system's planets (plus Pluto!) and the sun.

NASA - The official NASA website with loads of information on space exploration and the planets. Plus, there's a great teachers' section with interactive games and other useful resources.

fournilab.ch - Great website for viewing the Earth, Moon, etc - allows you to select different satellite views.
Hubble Telescope - Fantastic Hubble Telescope interactive website.
Faulkes Telescope - A real telescope with a facility to book observation time and the possibility to choose where to aim it!
